Commercial Litigation Construction & Design
Caitlin L. Bronner is an experienced litigator in the firm’s Commercial Litigation group, specializing in complex contractual, real estate, and partnership/LLC disputes. Caitlin’s practice is concentrated in the New York State and Federal courts, where she has successfully litigated matters ranging from multi-million dollar disputes for large institutional clients to smaller matters for individual clients, and everything in between. Caitlin also has extensive experience arbitrating and mediating disputes before JAMS and the AAA, and has a robust appellate practice, having successfully represented clients before the New York State Court of Appeals, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Appellate Division. Among other decisions, Caitlin is notable for having secured one of the few Civil Rico awards to have ever been issued in an arbitration in New York.
Caitlin has been recognized as a Rising Star by the Super Lawyers legal directory for a number of years, and is a member of both the New York City Bar Association, where she is a panel member for the Legal Referral Service Commercial Litigation and Appeals panels, and also of the New York State Bar Association and the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce. During law school, Caitlin was a member of the editorial board of the Moot Court Honor Society, and interned for the Hon. Jane Restani, then-Chief Judge of the United States Court of International Trade. Prior to joining Ingram, Caitlin worked with rare books and manuscripts at the New York offices of Sotheby’s auction house.
A commercial dispute can tie up valuable time and money. Believing that litigation should be a last resort, Caitlin labors to reach an efficient and effective solution for clients dealing with complex matters. She has sixteen years of experience counseling clients on how to avoid costly litigation by anticipating potential problem areas. Through collaborative efforts, Caitlin develops long-term strategies that take into account current legal issues; but when litigation is necessary, Caitlin remains a staunch advocate for her clients and their rights. Over the course of her career, Caitlin has represented a variety of entities, including corporations, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, public benefit corporations, title companies, condominium boards, and individuals.
