Commercial Litigation Intellectual Property
Mioko C. Tajika is a partner of the firm and is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property groups. Mioko practices in both federal and state trial and appellate courts representing clients in all phases of litigation, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Mioko’s practice focuses on trademark and copyright matters, including advising clients on intellectual property protection, enforcement, dispute avoidance, and litigation. Other substantive areas of her work have frequently included breach of contract, employment discrimination matters, and internal company disputes, among other matters. Mioko is a native Japanese speaker and a founding member of the Japanese American Lawyers Network. During law school, Mioko was an active member of the Moot Court Board and served as the Note and Comment Editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal. Previously, Mioko worked at an art gallery in the Chelsea area of New York.
